I’ll take you to discover Andorra’s customs and landscapes at your own pace.
Montse Arderiu,
mountain guide in Andorra
AZIMUT ANDORRA was born from a passion for sharing Andorra’s natural surroundings. The mountains relax me and have always been my great passion. So much so that five years ago I decided to change careers and train as a mountain guide, with the aim of offering unique experiences.
My aim is to accompany small groups who want to get off the usual routes and discover this country’s customs and remarkable landscapes.
When designing personalised experiences, I always look for the best weather and snow conditions to help you discover the Principality’s most beautiful spots safely and at a level suited to the group.
In winter, we’ll explore the valleys on snowshoes or touring skis and, as the good weather arrives, I organise cultural excursions to learn about dry-stone walling, the flowering season, medicinal herbs and Andorran customs. And, if the group is up for it, we can end the experience with a fondue in a traditional Andorran borda.
The options are almost endless!
Want to get to know me a little better?
-
I organise personalised nature outings in Catalan, Spanish, French and English.
-
Watching the mountains bloom. From spring onwards, new flora can be seen in the same places every fortnight: watercress, arnica...
-
The wood forget-me-not (known in Spanish as “nomeolvides”), quite common in Andorra’s valleys when the good weather arrives.
-
My grandmother telling me about medicinal herbs and teaching me their properties.
-
Restoring a mountain borda so I can share meals and unique experiences after a good excursion. Are you in?
